Royal Hotel Zurich

During our stay at the Royal Hotel, we were pleased with the comfortable and cozy atmosphere of our room. The bed provided a good night's sleep, and the curtains effectively blocked out most of the street light. The location of the hotel was also convenient, with only a short walk to the train station and the old city center. We appreciated the ease of access to transportation options, including a tram stop right outside the hotel that led to the airport. The reception staff were courteous and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Though there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a phone in the room and the absence of basic amenities like a kettle or tea bags/coffee sachets, the overall experience at the Royal Hotel Zurich was positive. We would recommend this hotel for its comfort and convenient location.

The Royal Hotel in Zurich ticks all the boxes for a comfortable and affordable stay. Firstly, the location is unbeatable - situated on a quiet street yet within walking distance of the city center. Secondly, the staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a great level of service throughout our stay. Additionally, the rooms are well-equipped and cozy, with a single bed and five lamps providing adequate lighting. The bonus was the decent view from the room, which was just as advertised in the photos. Lastly, the breakfast spread was impressive, catering to all tastes including vegetarians, and it was included in the price, making it exceptional value for money.

All aspects of our stay at this hotel were delightful.

Loved the cozy chalet-style room with a kitchenette and balcony, offering amazing mountain views. the storage room had a heater for boots, which was a nice touch. the hotel's location was perfect, being very close to the train and bus stations. the fact that the hotel provided bus and train tickets for the entire stay at no extra cost was a great bonus. they offered the convenience of buying skipass directly from the hotel. the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent advice and assistance throughout the stay.

The pillow provided in the room was quite thin and not very comfortable. the noise from the passing trams could be heard in the room every few minutes, making it a bit difficult to fall asleep.

The reception staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome. They went above and beyond to provide recommendations and assistance. the location of the hotel was fantastic with a tram stop right in front, offering direct access to the airport. This was incredibly convenient, especially with heavy luggage. Additionally, the breakfast provided was quite good.

The room was quite small and not very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room for easy access to hot water.

The hotel is conveniently located on the edge of the historical city center, making it easy to explore the main attractions by foot. It is also near the train station, providing easy access for those arriving by train. Plus, the trams just outside the entrance offer convenient transportation options to both the airport and other parts of the city. The rooms are comfortable, recently refreshed, and some even offer panoramic views of the city skyline. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The bathroom door, however, is made of mostly transparent glass, which may not offer enough privacy for some guests.

During my recent stay at Royal Hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of convenience and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel owner kindly offered me a free bottle of water and gave me advice on saving money by refilling it from the fountains. Additionally, she took the time to assist me in locating nearby restaurants and tourist spots. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

We had a great stay in a hotel near the main station. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy walking access to the city center. The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to answer our questions. We also enjoyed the free minibar and the nice view from our room. it was a pleasant experience and we would definitely recommend staying here.

The only downside was the expensive airport shuttle. We didn't realize it would cost so much, but it was the only negative aspect of our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of water and advised us to fill it from the nearby fountains to save money. They also went out of their way to assist us in finding local restaurants and tourist spots. The hotel itself was small but clean, with great facilities. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect - in a quiet area but still close to the city center. We were able to easily access the city center by tram, which was convenient. Additionally, the hotel provided secure parking for our car.

Secondly, the recently renovated rooms were impressive, equipped with all the modern comforts and a comfortable bed. Lastly, the breakfast included in the stay was of great value, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes, including vegetarian choices.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was great.
